St James Park
It is considered the most beautiful park in London, recalling the bucolic countryside of Kent, Hampshire and Sussex. Henry VIII has exploited the potential of wetlands, turning them in amusement park and hunting ground. At the will of Charles II, the architect Le Notre gave the shape of an English garden. John Nash was the one who gave her current appearance in 1829, arranging a lake. From high bridge over the lake you can enjoy a magnificent view of Buckingham and Whitehall palace.
Green Park
This park has kept its lawns and trees, and during spring yellow daffodils make them come to life. It was the favorite place of combatants in the past, but there is nothing to remember it.
In the east of the park is Spencer House, former residence of the Spencer family. Restored, the building is a beautiful example of urban building in the eighteenth century, one that can be visited, of the above.
Richmond Park
With about 660 hectares with secular oaks, Richmond Park is known as the largest in the UK. It was turned into a hunting ground during the reign of Charles I, and its green spaces and animals living in the wild deer and small lakes in the eighteenth century, one can see different species of water birds.
Bushy Park
Bushy Park covers some 400 hectares. It was built between 1500 and 1537 to Cardinal Wolsey and King Henry VIII desire with numerous rivers and lakes fed by water from the Longford River. The park is famous for the views it offers, such as the one on Chestnut Avenue, which leads to the Diana Fountain.

Torture Museum is considered the scariest, interesting and unusual museum where can be found some instruments of medieval torture in a dark atmosphere so that the visitor can make an idea about the criminal justice system that existed five hundred years ago.

Torture Museum is an example of history of human cruelty when the government used extreme methods causing pain / death to the violators.

All information displayed on the walls are presented in several international languages such as English, Dutch, French, German, Italian and Spanish. Museum of torture is near the Munt market on the left side of Singel canal.

The Torture Museum is open every day from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

The entrance fee is only 5 euros for adults and half a price for children.

If until now you weren’t ready to make a spectacular tour of Europe and you didn’t have enough money for such a trip, then you can go to the world’s craziest park in Brussels, and try such a great alternative. Mini Europe in Brussels is the greatest tourist attraction.

Here you can see the majority of European monuments, true symbols of the continent. Some of the exhibits include the Berlin Wall, the famous Montmartre in Paris, or the Acropolis in Athens.

The only difference between the real and these versions is that these have a 25 times smaller size than the original ones. If anywhere in Europe you haven’t visited any of them, then be sure if you’re in Brussels at the Mini Europe park you are going to see all of them, if not, the most important ones.

Mini Europe is very near the entrance to the amazing Atomium, Brussels attraction of steel built for Expo in 1958. Models of various monuments and attractions in the EU that are exposed at Mini Europe are truly fascinating. I don’t think there are tourists who would miss such attractions.

Models here perfectly reproduce the original monuments of the continent. Some of them reached the sum of more than 700,000 dollars. The most expensive one is the model that reproduces the Grand Place in Brussels.

Another interesting model in the park is the Tower of Pisa, representing perfectly the country of Italy.

It is made of marble, thing that makes it be authentic.

Romania is another country present at Mini Europe in Brussels with the Mogosoaia Palace, located about 10 km outside the Bucharest city.

Danish Parliament is located in the impressive Christiansborg Palace whose copper towers dominate the center of Copenhagen. During the tours, you can visit including the Parliament House, where sessions are being held.

The most impressive is the building of the Parliament: Christiansborg Palace and the Palace Square, where Danish citizens often come to protest against those in power. The palace we see today and which was in use in 1918 was built between 1907-1928 on the site of former palaces that have burned after a fire.

Central Market is the one surrounded by the palace buildings and is a very large, quiet and harmonious place. Moreover, the center of this market is marked by the equestrian statue of King Frederick VII, a remaining representative figure for Danish that played an important role in the obtaining of the first Democrat Constitutional Act in 1849.

Inside the palace, one of the most important rooms is the hall, spread over an area of approximately 900 square meters and linking the Upper House (where conferences and major events are being held) from Parliament House, where meetings in parliament are held. In the middle of the hall is the chat room, the largest reception hall of the Parliament, where heads of state and important guests are being received. Perhaps one of the main attractions is the Danish Constitution issued in 1849 and amended in 1953. Hallways visitors can admire the portraits of former Danish Prime Minister and spokesman of parliament.

Of the 179 members of the Danish Parliament, two are elected from the Faroe Islands and two others in Greenland. Another interesting thing is that almost 37 percent of members are women, which shows that the feminist movement was a success in Denmark. The average age of Danish parliament is quite low, reaching 46 years. During a parliamentary year, are being held almost a hundred sessions in the House of Parliament, while discussing about 2000-3000 laws. What is interesting is that Parliament sessions are open to the public so that anyone interested can attend, but without disturbing the debate. At the beginning of each parliamentary year, a red carpet is being extended for the royal family who come to attend the official opening.

Parliament can be visited only in organized groups who benefit explanations of a guide. Tours depart daily at 11AM, 1PM and 3PM. After entrance you can take free brochures with information about Parliament. Christiansborg Palace is located downtown, in Slotsholmen, a few minutes to go from the center of the city.

Cádiz is one of the pretenders to the title of Europe’s oldest city. Its origin dates back to Phoenician and legend connects the foundation of the settlement and one of the myths about Hercules. Cádiz was founded around the year 1104 BC under the form of the Gadir Phoenician colony. Inhabitants even say today to themselves “gaditanos”.

The Phoenicians were held here a deposit of tin, which they brought from great Britain. In 501 BC, the settlement was occupied by the Carthaginians, and Hamilcar and Hannibal gathered here their fleet of war. The Romans who conquered the city in 206 BC, named it Gades and founded here an area ” of free trade”. In 49 BC, Cádiz, then the third capital of the Roman Empire was visited by Julius Caesar himself.

Unlike other Andalusian cities, Moorish domination, which lasted almost 500 years has not left almost no mark on the Cádiz city’s architecture. After the discovery of America, the Spanish fleet carried in Europe all the treasures of the New World, including Aztec and Inca gold.

Since 1717, when Philip V of moved from Seville to Cadiz the” Casa de Contratación de las Indias,” its government agency controlling trade with America, the city on the shores of the Atlantic began to develop in a steady pace, reaching the rank of the most important military port in the Iberian Peninsula.

Despite its unusual location, on a narrow piece of land surrounded by water, Cadiz is a typical Andalusian town that has a variety of views and best preserved historical monuments. The old town, with remains of ancient walls, is called Casco Antiguo. It is characterized by its old neighborhoods such as El Populo, La Viña, and Santa Maria contrasting new areas.

The streets of old town are actually narrow alleys connecting large markets, and the new town enjoys broad streets and modern buildings, interspersed with parks with growing exotic plants such as giant trees brought here by Columbus

Among the many attractions of the city, there are cathedrals in various architectural styles, a theater, hall, a 18th century tower, the remains of city walls, an ancient Roman theater.

If you want to know more, Cadiz is waiting you to visit the streets. Thus, the price of a ticket is less than 200 euros in Madrid, where you can get to Cadiz through Seville by bus.

Canary Islands have become one of the most popular tourist destinations. They are yearly chosen as a vacation spot by 11 million tourists, especially Europeans. The reasons are many: pleasant weather, crystal-clear sea water, spectacular sandy beaches and unique nature. Many visitors come here because the islands give them the chance to spend holidays in an active way, as for example popular tourism, mountain climbing and water sports.

“Canaries” are a big attraction for Romanian tourists who arrive after a few hours of flight from the heart of Europe’s cold winter, to heat. Even here in the winter temperatures do not fall below 20 degrees, but are not threatening any canicula, difficult to be stand by many people….

Canary Islands feature is diversity. Each finds here all he wants, which is a reason to return. You can always find something new. Those who yearn for sun and endless beaches are moving to Fuerteventura. Admirers of modern art will choose volcanoes and Lanzarote. Nightlife lovers, the bathing and nudity will focus on Gran Canaria.

Scouts will go to Tenerife, where the Spain’s highest mountain expects them, the old “Dragon Tree” on the island, Thora Heyrdala exhibition, but also a magnificent wine. La Palma is adored by active tourists and famous for fruit crops. Towards Gomer will leave cyclists and nature lovers. Finally, it is here the island of Hierro too, a haven for romantics and lovers of solitude.

Canary Islands are part of Spain, although it is much closer to Africa. The seven islands of common origin, bathed by the Atlantic water, is over 1300 km from the Iberian Peninsula. The closest neighboring state is Morocco, at a distance of only 95km east of Fuerteventura.

The largest zoo in the world we can say there are the national parks in South Africa which consists of more than three millions of acres for conservation of wild variety of the country. Of these 3 million hectares, 2 million have been allocated to Kruger National Park.

Africa is a continent rich in wildlife and the national park has tried to include a larger number of animals on the continent. Tourists can watch the wild animals live show from their private cars which is why the security level of visitors is quite high.

Tourists are very important to them because they represent a source of income and provides funding for preservation projects undertaken in the park. Currently, Kruger National Park is unrivaled in biodiversity and modern techniques and environmental management policies.

There are about six ecosystems throughout the reserve consisting of approximately 2000 species of plants, 500 birds species, 150 mammals species and 110 reptiles species, including crocodiles 3000.
There can also be found 350 African wild dogs, a species of which exist within South Africa no more than 400 copies.

Frozen waterfalls with giant icicles are exposing in the massive mountains in Austria. Eisriesenwelt- the World of Ice Giants-is considered the largest system of ice caves in Europe, its network of galleries and stately rooms extending over at least 40 km in Tennengebirge Massif, located south of Salzburg.

Near the entrance there is a wall of ice of 30 meters high, beyond it stretches a maze of caverns and color. In the pale light of the lanterns you can see curtains and columns of ice and frost deposited on the walls of shining gold stone.

Formations and fairy tale figures have been given name like “ice chapel”, while, in the depths of the mountain, a frozen curtain covers the “ice door”. In some places, cold currents are strong hissing through narrow galleries, aroused by the movement of air between the cave entrances, above.

“ice giants” were created by water that has infiltrated in the limestone caves formed over 2 million years ago.
At this altitude, Eisriesenwelt is more than 1,500 m above sea level and the winter temperature falls very much in caves.

Rain and water resulting from melting ice in spring freezes immediately inside the grotto, creating spectacular formations equivalent of stalactites and stalagmites of limestone caves.
