Torture Museum, Amsterdam

Torture Museum is considered the scariest, interesting and unusual museum where can be found some instruments of medieval torture in a dark atmosphere so that the visitor can make an idea about the criminal justice system that existed five hundred years ago.

Torture Museum is an example of history of human cruelty when the government used extreme methods causing pain / death to the violators.

All information displayed on the walls are presented in several international languages such as English, Dutch, French, German, Italian and Spanish. Museum of torture is near the Munt market on the left side of Singel canal.

The Torture Museum is open every day from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

The entrance fee is only 5 euros for adults and half a price for children.
